Singapore Airlines has named David Lau regional vice president of the Americas. 

Lau is based in Los Angeles and is responsible for the airline’s regional sales, marketing, finance and administration in addition to Singapore Airlines’ cargo and passenger operations at gateways at airports in New York, Newark, Houston, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. 

A 35-year Singapore Air veteran, Lau most recently served as regional vice president of West Asia and Africa.

Lau replaces Joey Seow, who has been named regional vice president of Europe, based in London. Seow had headed the Americas region since October 2019, according to LinkedIn.
