A luxury property on Anguilla is reopening, and another is debuting an expansion.
Zemi Beach House, a member of Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts, reopens July 1, following a temporary closure in February.
The 76-room beachfront resort is located on Shoal Bay East on the north coast of the island.
Facilities include two main restaurants, the Rhum Room and the Zemi Thai Spa and three pools with cabanas offering poolside service. Activities include a grass tennis court, morning yoga sessions and beach volleyball.
The resort has partnered with Tradewind Aviation, a private charter company, to offer the Jetset to Barefoot Luxury package that features private cocktail reception upon arrival, daily a la carte breakfast, rum flight at the Rhum Room, three-course dinner on the beach and a $200 resort credit per day with the booking of a two-bedroom residence.
The starting rate for the two-bedroom residence is $4,900 per night; air costs depend upon the originating destination, the number of passengers and size of the aircraft.
Zemi also has a new director of sales and marketing, Antoine Alysayah. Most recently he served in the same position at Wymara Resort & Villas in Turks and Caicos.
New guestrooms at Frangipani
Frangipani Beach Resort, meanwhile, has added four luxury units, including three oceanview rooms and one penthouse suite, with views of Meads Bay.
The new, 650-square-foot oceanview rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, outdoor seating areas and Caribbean chic decor. The rooms also have a minifridge and coffee bar.
The 3,000-square-foot penthouse suite features a master bedroom and ensuite bathroom with indoor/outdoor shower, a second bedroom with bath, a kitchen, living room, laundry room and expansive balcony.
The resort already has 19 guestrooms and suites and a four-bedroom beachfront villa. Resort guests have access to water sports, a tennis court, an infinity beachfront pool, a Balinese spa and the FrangiCat power catamaran for a day sail to secluded cays.
