Virgin Voyages is partnering with World Poker Tour to provide a poker room on the Scarlet Lady.
The ship, which sails four- and five-night cruises from Miami, will have a WPT at Sea poker room. The space will include eight custom poker tables staffed by professional dealers. The room will offer beginner classes, cash games, satellite tourneys and WPT Prize Package tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $80 to $320.
A WPT at Sea main event with a buy-in of $320 will be held each sailing. Depending on the number of participants, the winner may be awarded a WPT prize package valued at $5,000 that may be used on any future voyage or WPT event, according to the cruise line.
Playing in the poker room is cashless and handled by the guest’s wearable bracelet device.
