Riviera River Cruises will offer longer versions of some of its popular cruises in 2024 to meet growing demand.
The European river cruise company will operate 11-day versions of three existing itineraries that sail on the Seine, Rhine and Moselle rivers next year. The itineraries will build on the eight-day itineraries currently offered.
Riviera said the move comes after the success of its first 11-day Lyon, Provencal Rhone and Camargue River Cruise itinerary launched last year.
“They’re the ideal fit between our eight-day cruises, which some might think aren’t quite long enough, and our 15-day cruises, which might leave others wanting to get home,” said Marilyn Conroy, Riviera’s executive vice president of sales and marketing for North America. “And because they’re based on existing itineraries on the Seine, Rhine and Moselle rivers, they allow guests to experience these regions a little more deeply.”
The new 11-day itineraries are Paris, Normandy and Historic Treasures of the Seine; Cologne, the Rhine Gorge and Medieval Germany; and the Moselle, Luxembourg and the Majestic Rhine.
The Paris, Normandy and Historic Treasures of the Seine cruise adds more time for guests to spend in Paris with an extra day spent in the City of Light, followed by a new overnight stay in Conflans with sightseeing in Auvers-sur-Oise.

Visits to Cologne, Rudesheim, Andernach and Braubach will be added to the new Cologne, Rhine Gorge and Medieval Germany itinerary. Guests will also embark in Cologne as opposed to Mainz, which is where the eight-day itinerary begins.
And the Moselle, Luxembourg and the Majestic Rhine itinerary, which is based on the original eight-day Rhine & Moselle River Cruise, adds visits to Adernach, Worms, Speyer, Schwetzingen, Braubon and Bonn.
