Earlier this month, American Cruise Lines christened two ships in its fleet, the American Jazz and the American Serenade, in two different states.
The American Jazz was christened by its godmother, Stacia L. Morfin, CEO of Nez Perce Tourism and a citizen of the Nimiipuu Nation. The ceremony took place in Clarkston, Wash., on the Snake River. The Jazz entered service in 2021.
Congresswoman Julia Letlow (R-La.). christened the American Serenade in Vidalia, Louisiana. The Serenade made its debut in April.
The two ships each accommodate 180 guests and are part of the company’s six-ship fleet of modern riverboats.
