Hilton is bringing its midscale micro-hotel brand, Motto by Hilton, to New York’s Times Square this August.
Located on West 48th Street between 6th and 7th avenues, the 400-room Motto by Hilton Times Square will offer Motto’s hostel-inspired accommodations, with sleeping configurations such as a twin bed over a queen bunk bed or a queen flex bed that can be stowed away into the wall. To maximize space, rooms are outfitted with built-in storage units.
The hotel will have a large number of connecting rooms, another brand signature. At the Motto by Hilton Times Square, guests will be able to connect up to six adjoining rooms.
The hotel will be home to The Alderman, a restaurant serving diner-style fare and cocktails inspired by the early 20th century and updated with modern flair.
The Motto by Hilton Times Square is the sixth Motto in Hilton’s portfolio and the brand’s second in New York, joining the Motto by Hilton New York City Chelsea. Motto also has hotels in Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia; Tulum, Mexico; and Rotterdam.
Motto, a brand that launched in 2018, has hotels in development in Cusco, Peru; Hong Kong; Glasgow, Scotland; and Atlanta.
