The Floating Grace is based at the Salt House Dock, opposite the renowned Albert Dock and has been sailing and catering around the city since 2016. Up to 50 guests can enjoy a three course dinner, Sunday roasts or afternoon tea including a licenced bar onboard the city’s only floating restaurant.

According to TripAdvisor’s latest recommended places to see and do in Liverpool, The Floating Grace has jumped up to eighth place receiving 961 reviews ranked ‘excellent’.

After sharing the news on Facebook, fans weren’t surprised they made it in the top ten beating 1,440 other restaurants to acclaim.

One commented: “that’s brilliant but I think you definitely deserve 1st place.”

While another added: “Brilliant, definitely worth a visit, the food and the staff are fantastic.”

While tucking into classic British food ranging from lamb shank to apple guests can enjoy a voyage around eight of Liverpool’s docks including Brunswick Dock, Queens Dock and Wapping Dock.

Awarded the Certificate of Excellence in 2018, diners will also be treated to music to get people into the party mood whatever the occasion.

Peter Kenny told the ECHO in 2019 that he has been sailing for decades and when he decided to purchase The Floating Grace.

He said: “I was over the moon when it came up for grabs, me and my wife looked at and loved it right away, we thought right we’ll do it.

“It needed quite a bit of work, it was a mess inside, but we took over and completely renovated the inside and started all over again. It’s a fabulous boat.”

Bookings for Christmas Cruises are available to book now that will run throughout December and on Christmas Day with a free glass of champagne included.

Evening dinner and Sunday lunch cruises costs £35 pp and £25pp respectively, with the trip taking two hours while afternoon tea excursions are £20pp.
