IHG Hotels & Resorts will open the doors of the new InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace this May.
Housed within a neo-Renaissance-style building dating back to 1900, the 160-room hotel is located in downtown Rome, situated along the city’s famous Via Veneto.
The property will be home to several food and beverage offerings, including an outpost of Scarpetta NYC, which will serve up the brand’s signature Italian and American fare for lunch and dinner, as well as Anita’s Bar and Lounge and the aperitivo- and cocktail-focused concept Charlie’s Rooftop.
According to IHG, Charlie’s Rooftop will be Rome’s only rooftop venue to open year-round.
The opening of the InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace follows the recent debut of IHG’s Six Senses Rome in mid-March.
Rates at the InterContinental Ambasciatori Rome start at around $819 per night, while rates at the Six Senses Rome start at approximately $1,580 per night.
