The team looked at the average rainfall, temperatures and things to do during spring to find the winning city.

Amsterdam topped the list and was crowned the best city in the world for a holiday during springtime.
Tourists who head to the city at the end of April could join the city’s celebrations for King’s Day on April 27.
People take to the streets wearing orange to celebrate King Willem Alexander’s birthday and dance late into the night.
Spring is also the right time of year to visit the breathtaking tulip fields at Keukenhof Tulip Festival.

Tourists could also enjoy a picnic in one of the city’s parks, such as Vondelpark, Amsterdam’s most famous.

However, British tourists might not be welcome in Amsterdam following the launch of a new campaign asking certain tourists to ‘stay away’.
City officials have launched a series of online ads asking partying sex and drug tourists to ‘stay away’ from Amsterdam.
The campaign is part of the city’s efforts to change its reputation and discourage tourists from visiting for sex or drugs.
If Britons are put off by the campaign, luckily the world’s second best city for spring is right here in the UK.
London took second place on the list and as the weather finally starts to brighten up, it could be the perfect time for a city staycation.
The capital comes alive with cherry blossom blooms during spring with Greenwich Park and Regent’s Park some of the best places to enjoy the colourful flowers.
Tourists could also take a springtime stroll along Regent’s Canal or visit one of the city’s many free urban farms.
Prague took third place on the list while Beijing was named the world’s fourth best city for a spring visit.
Two American cities made the top 10 and could be combined on one spring trip as Los Angeles and Las Vegas are just a four-hour drive apart.
Rome, Paris and Vienna were also named in the ranking, giving British tourists plenty of choice for a spring city break.
