When boarding a flight to go on holiday most of us are thinking about the exotic destination at the end rather than the plane itself.
However, while many of us are willing to sit wherever were assigned some people have preferences.
Many Brits like the window seat so they can lean against the wall and nap while others like the aisle seat that gives access to the loo.

Plenty also prefer to pay extra to sit in an extra legroom seat – especially if they’re tall.
But, one of the annoying parts of plane journeys is that even when you pay extra for your seat some passengers try and take them anyway.
If they’re polite, the person might ask if you’re willing to swap, but one woman revealed an entire family took her row of seats without even saying a word.
Thankfully, she was left feeling smug as “karma” instantly gave her sweet revenge, reports the Mirror.
Posting in the Reddit's 'Stolen Seats' forum the woman explained what happened.
She said that the plane was entirely sold out, but despite booking specific seats when she boarded the found a family in her reserved spots.
The woman wrote: "We get on to find that a family is in our seats. The parents won't even look up at us.
“The teen daughter mumbles that she got there first and just sat down.
“They were in our A-B-C seats. They were supposed to be D-E-F.
“They were clearly not moving, and the seats were identical so we just sat in their D-E-F seats. Whatever, not worth worrying about.
"Well, until the mum who initially refused to even look at us leaned over to ask me if our USB and outlets were working.
“Yes, while I had headphones on.
"'Why yes, yes they are.' 'Oh my, are yours not?' 'None of them?' 'Isn't that a shame?
“Especially since we sat on the runway for a bit over an hour and it is a long flight. I imagine batteries are getting low.' Hello Karma."
In the comments, people were gleeful at the result.
"Outstanding", one Redditor said, whilst another wrote: "That's fantastic!"
A third person noted: "When traveling I always have two charged power packs in my personal bag. So not only did they steal seats they are not good at planning ahead for travelling!"
Yet more were confused about the unusual swap too.
One such person added: "I'm really curious why they decided to sit in identical seats across the aisle from their assigned seats.
“Whomp whomp to them, sweet karma."
