A woman has sparked a debate on TikTok after she revealed her boyfriend's travel habits, as people can't decide if it's genius or risky.

While most of us are trying to figure out how much we can cram in a cabin bag to swerve fees, one man is so relaxed he's not packing a bag at all. In fact, according to his aggrieved girlfriend, he travels with "just vibes".

She shared a video on her TikTok, @sophiaarosenblum, in which she quipped that he should be sent "to jail immediately", and that his habit was a "beige flag".

She wrote: "My boyfriend's beige flag is that he refuses to bring any bag or backpack on the plane with him. He travels with no chargers, snacks, water, literally anything. Just vibes. Someone please help this man."

In the accompanying caption she added: "Pls send him to jail immediately."

For some people, the move is far too risky. "This is unhinged," wrote one commenter.

Another added: "I'm a flight attendant and anytime I see a man do this I am shocked!!"

Others were also disturbed by the move. One person wrote: "The panic I have just watching him walk with absolutely nothing… I can’t".

Some people questioned whether he does genuinely travel with no belongings – or whether his girlfriend is the one who ends up having to carry everything in her bag.

For most, the idea of sitting on a flight with nothing to do was the main issue, not to mention the risk of your checked bags going missing and leaving you without any items abroad.

One person wrote: "I could never because what if they lose the checked bag and you don't have a carry on as backup."

Another added: "The day he loses his luggage, is the day this will end. Hope that doesn’t happen though! Love how unbothered he is."

However, others said that they have similar habits, and praised him for the low-fuss approach to travel.

"This is perfect," one user commented. "Hate people blocking aisle trying to fit bags and delaying flights. Or fighting for overhead space."

"Only way to travel!" added another, while a third said they'd recently shocked their friends by turning up at the airport without luggage.

Still, there seems to be a few added risks to travelling through airport security and looking unusual because of the lack of a bag.

One person said: "I did this once and got pulled aside by security and got grilled. Don’t recommend."
