PCR Covid tests have become largely mandatory for anybody wanting to travel overseas. But finding the right supplier can be an absolute minefield – especially with so many different options available to you. Here are the latest prices for Jet2, TUI, easyJet, Ryanair, and British Airways.
After the introduction of the traffic light system for travel earlier this year, holidays have been put back on the agenda.
However, each country demands a variety of entry requirements which usually includes having at least one negative Covid test – and that includes the UK.
Some airlines have agreed partnerships with test providers in order to give their customers the best deals.
As it stands, you’ll be spending the least amount of money on a single test if you’re travelling with TUI.
TUI test prices
TUI has linked up with test provider Chronomics, to give its customers “easy and affordable testing packages”.
Government-approved PCR test start from just £20 per person, which includes delivery and return costs.
British Airways test prices
British Airways has partnered 13 different test providers to try and find the best possible deals for customers.
Antigen tests start from £22.40, while full PCR tests are upwards of £40.41.

Jet2 test prices
Jet2 also has a number of different partnerships in place, with a variety of different prices.
The best price is a £43 home test with provider Randox, with the most expensive reaching £99.
Ryanair test prices
Randox also agreed a deal with Ryanair, offering its customers access to a variety of different test packages.
A single pre-departure PCR test will cost you £43, while an Amber travel package – which contains three separate tests – costs £129.
easyJet test prices
easyJet has partnered with both Randox and Collinson for PCR tests.
A pre-travel PCR test costs £43 with Randox, and £66 with Collinson.
It’s essential that everyone checks the entry requirements of where they’re heading before leaving the UK.
Some countries demand different types of Covid test, so it’s best to be on top of any new updates.
For the UK, you’ll certainly need to take a PCR test in the three days before travelling back.
If you’re coming from a Green list country, you’ll need to pay for a Day 2 Covid test after your return.
The same applies to Amber list countries, if you’ve been double vaccinated.
If you’re not fully vaccinated, you’ll also need to pay for a Day 8 Covid test, while staying in isolation at home.
Travellers from Red list countries will need to book a stay in a government-approved quarantine hotel. The cost will include Covid tests.
