Disneyland Paris to give its iconic hotel a magical royal-themed makeover

Disneyland Paris has announced a major makeover is happening to its iconic hotel.

The five-star hotel is already a dream for young children with its location in the heart of the resort.

But now it's going to become the first Disney hotel to get a fully-royal theme.

The decoration will be inspired by some of the classic tales, including Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella.

Not to mention some of the most recent hits from Tangled to Frozen.

Although Disney has remained mysterious about the details as to what will be on offer, it has released a teaser to one of its rooms.

And guess what – it's just as magical as you can expect.

There will be crown-themed architecture, large artwork dedicated to the princesses, lavish interiors and even big beds too.

Disney says all of the hotel rooms and suites will be "entirely re-themed to offer the most immersive experience".

The public areas will be a tribute to the films and characters, the resort said.

Also it's not just rooms and suites that will get a makeover too.

As part of the refurbishment there will be other perks such as a larger pool area, an expanded spa and updated restaurants and bars.

Sylvie Massara, Walt Disney Imagineering Paris – Design and Show Quality, said: "At Disneyland Paris, we create enchanting experiences for all ages.

"The completely refurbished Disneyland Hotel will do just that, immersing guests in a timeless royal atmosphere."
