Brit manages to bag flights to Abu Dhabi from UK for just £69

Whenever we find an incredibly cheap flight we’re always looking to brag to friends and family – and maybe book them on it too.

But, one travel influencer claims to have found a bargain “so cheapies madness.”

Rob Adcock, a sports fan who makes it his mission to find low cost flights so he can attend international football games, claims he didn’t believe the price was “real at first”.

The content creator managed to fly from the UK, stop off to see a football game in Rome, and then head on to the United Arab Emirates.

He spent just £69 on the journey after finding a Wizz Air Rome to Abu Dhabi flight for a tiny £48.

In his viral TikTok video, posted @robdidatiktok, showing the deal he added: “I almost don’t want to tell you.”

Rob had been conducting a budget travel challenge when he noticed the incredible flight combo that would get him to Abu Dhabi from England for just £69.

Rob spent just £21 on a flight to Rome using Skyscanner where he watched a football match before flying out the next day.

This is where things get “mad” as Rob discovered that Wizz Air has opened up brand new routes and he landed a flight from Rome to Abu Dhabi for just £48.

Considering it’s a long haul flight to another country getting the journey for under £50 is an incredible price.

Rob commented: “To put that in context, that’s cheaper than if I wanted to catch the train to Swindon.”

After spotting Rob’s incredible deal we took a look at some of Wizz Air's other brand new routes which mostly fly out from Rome, Italy.

Thankfully, getting to Rome from the UK is pretty cheap both with Wizz Air and thanks to cheap tickets in the easyJet and Ryanair sales.

Passengers can now fly from Rome to Castellon in Spain, Luxembourg, Baku in Azerbaijan, Abu Dhabi in the UAE and Kuwait City in Kuwait.

Flights on the various new routes start from £24.99.
