So many of us have missed out on trips and holidays over the last year and a half.

If your family is eager to soak up the sun and splash in the sea then you're probably looking at all-inclusive options right now.

However, keep in mind that just because the borders are open this doesn’t mean all destinations are restrictions are free and some still require quarantine.

Tonight, the government announced the new traffic light system would go ahead, with countries assigned ‘green’, ‘amber’ or ‘red’ designations which have different rules.

These groupings are decided based on the severity of coronavirus injection rates in each country as well as the effectiveness of their vaccine programs.

So-called green countries will be open to Brits so long as they take a Covid test before and after their trip.
