Spirit Airlines will resume daily service between Fort Lauderdale and Managua, Nicaragua, on Nov. 30.
Spirit, which will be the lone carrier on the route, last flew to Managua in August 2020 and last offered daily Fort Lauderdale-Managua flights in March 2020, Cirium flight schedule data shows.

“We’re eager to welcome back our Nicaraguan guests and excited to make travel to and from Managua accessible for families, friends and visitors again,” Camilo Martelo, Spirit’s director of international stations, said in a prepared remark.
The Managua resumption means Spirit will fly to 29 destinations in the Americas and the Caribbean. The carrier said it is optimizing its schedule for easy connections through Fort Lauderdale to and from 26 U.S. markets.
