Rock House, the first resort tucked into the limestone cliffs of Providenciales’ north shore, opened in May.
Developed and operated by Grace Bay Resorts, the resort features 46 oceanfront villa-style accommodations, including studios and one- and two-bedroom freestanding homes as envisioned by Mark Durliat, CEO, during his travels to Italy and the south of France.
“Rock House is the Caribbean Capri, rivaling a trip to the Mediterranean without the transcontinental trip,” Durliat said. “As one of only a few Leading Hotels of the World properties in Turks & Caicos, Rock House brings a new experience to those seeking an alternative to beachfront resorts typically found in the islands.”
The standalone residences, which are available to resort guests when not owner-occupied, feature outdoor terraces, bathrooms with outdoor shower gardens, 13-foot vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the sea.
The oceanfront pool studios overlook the 100-foot infinity pool surrounded by day beds and parasols. Interiors include custom furnishings, oversized soaking tubs and terrazzo flooring.
Guests have access to the Beach Club at Rock House, reminiscent of European beach clubs with a jetty that stretches 130 feet into the Atlantic. The club features oceanfront dining, a private beach and daily water activities, kayaking excursions, snorkeling and island picnics.
Slated to open later this year are a spa, tennis courts and a yoga pavilion.
Introductory rates start at $655 per studio, per night for arrivals through Jan. 30.
