The full-day excursion at Kamalame Cay is priced from $700 to $975 per person plus tax, depending on which island activity is selected. Guests can rent private, oceanfront cabanas with outdoor showers and personal toilet for the day from $350.

Atlantis and Coco Bahama Seaplanes also offer half-day trips to Exuma from $1,000 per person and Spanish Wells (Eleuthera) from $800 per person plus 10% tax, where guests can cavort with swimming pigs, wild turtles and stingrays, followed by locally prepared food and drink.

Atlantis was the first of the mega-resorts to partner with Coco, according to Audrey Oswell, president and managing director of Atlantis. “We know the Bahamas’ bounty of culture, art and our environment’s splendor exists among our sister islands. We are thrilled to offer our guests access to even more of our beautiful country,” she said.

Coco plans to partner with six or seven boutique properties by the end of the year as well as other megaresorts.
