Carnival to sail Long Beach-Tokyo cruise in 2024

Carnival Cruise Line will offer four new long itineraries in 2024, including transpacific voyages for the first time between Long Beach, Calif., and Tokyo. 

Carnival will also sail between Sydney and Singapore in 2024.

The itineraries mark a few firsts for Carnival. The 4,008-guest Carnival Panorama will be the first Carnival ship to visit Manila, Philippines, while the 3,012-guest Splendor will become the first Carnival ship to call in Tanjung Priok, Indonesia.

The Carnival Panorama will sail an 18-day transpacific voyage from Long Beach, sailing the Endicott Arm Fjord in Alaska and calling in Ketchikan, Sitka and Icy Strait Point. 

The ship will also call in Japanese ports Kushiro and Aomori before ending in Yokohama just south of Tokyo. The sailing departs Aug. 22, 2024.

On Oct. 12, 2024, the ship will sail back to Long Beach on a 25-day sailing from Singapore via Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam; Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia; Manila, Philippines; Guam; and Hawaii with calls in Honolulu and Maui. 

Aboard the Carnival Splendor, the line will sail a 15-day cruise from Sydney to Singapore departing July 21, 2024. The ship will call at Brisbane, Airlie Beach and Cairns in Australia; Lombok Island and Bali, Indonesia. 

On Aug. 24, 2024, the Splendor will sail for 16 days from Singapore back to Sydney with calls in Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Java and Lombok Island and Bali, Indonesia; and in Australia at Darwin, Airlie Beach and Moreton Island.
