American Queen Voyages offers Rocky Mountaineer add-on for Alaska cruises

American Queen Voyages has partnered with Canadian luxury train company Rocky Mountaineer to offer pre-cruise and post-cruise rail trips for guests sailing Alaska itineraries on the new Ocean Victory expedition ship.

American Queen kicks off its 13-day Vancouver-Sitka sailings on May 6. The add-on option is available on six sailings through September.

The Landscapes and Luxury Rocky Mountaineer City Stay package is available as a six-day pre-cruise or a five-day post-cruise option. Routes will traverse through the Canadian Rockies between Calgary and Vancouver.

The City Stay package features two night stays on the glass-domed train, hotel nights in Banff and Kamloops, and two nights in Vancouver.

Guests can expect half-day and full-day tours in Vancouver, a National Parks pass, as well as train and airport transfers. The pre-cruise package also includes an additional hotel night in Calgary and a full-day sightseeing tour from Calgary to Banff.
