AmaWaterways unveiled details of its longest river cruise itinerary for 2024, and for the first time the entire sailing will take place aboard a single ship.

The 49-night Seven River Journey will introduce two new departures in the spring and summer of 2024 aboard the AmaMora. Both cruises will sail from the Danube Delta to the Black Sea, cruising the entire navigable length of the Rhine and Danube rivers for the first time.

Previous Seven River Journey sailings, which first launched in 2021, have taken place on multiple ships.

The decision to sail the 2024 spring and summer sailings on a single vessel will make it “easy for guests to sit back, relax and enjoy the unparalleled experience of cruising seamlessly between the North Sea and the Black Sea, visiting the historical sites and rich culture of the 15 countries in between,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-founder of AmaWaterways.

Also new to the 2024 itineraries are seven-day explorations of the Danube Delta, with visits to six towns along the route and the chance to see a special folklore event in a new port located in Giurgiulesti, Moldova.

The Seven River Journey spring edition will run from April 22 to June 10, and the summer edition runs from June 10 to July 29. The cruises will sail the Danube, Rhine, Main and Moselle, along with the inland waterways and canals of the Netherlands and Belgium.

The 78-cabin AmaMora offers a sundeck pool with a swim-up bar, a fitness room and complimentary bicycles, and guests will also have access to complimentary laundry services during the seven weeks they are onboard.
