Just days after the opening of the highly anticipated trans-Tasman bubble between Australia and New Zealand, Jetstar has slashed the price of flights across the ditch in a ‘Limited Time Only’ flash sale.
Kicking off at 9am Friday 23 April and running until across the weekend until 11:59pm AEDT on Monday 26 April, travellers can snap up flights on deals for trips across Australia and to New Zealand.
With domestic fares starting from just $33 (Sydney to Melbourne — Avalon) the real standout is fares across the trans-Tasman, starting from $185 (Gold Coast to Christchurch).

Travel dates vary per route but include early May to late June 2021, mid-July to mid-September 2021 and early October 2021 to late January 2022.
The sale will see more than 250,000 fares go for cheap both domestically and between Australia and New Zealand, which Chief Customer Service Officer Alan McIntyre said couldn’t come at a better time.
“We are extremely fortunate to have some of the world’s most diverse attractions right here on our doorstep,” he said.
“The opening of the trans-Tasman bubble is an important milestone, and we are looking forward to more international travel in the future.
“But right now, we have a unique opportunity to spend more time discovering and enjoying our two countries and we hope our low fares and this campaign will encourage more people to do just that.”
