Island-inspired clothing brand Tommy Bahama is making a foray into hotels, announcing plans to revamp the Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, Calif., and turn it into the world’s first Tommy Bahama-branded resort.
The property is on track to debut as the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa by late 2023. It will remain open throughout the transition.
As part of the project, the entire Miramonte Resort & Spa will undergo a facelift, receiving what the brand calls the “Tommy Bahama design aesthetic.”

The 215-room resort will also relaunch under the Tommy Bahama banner with reimagined public spaces, a new indoor/outdoor restaurant concept, a refreshed bar and a new retail boutique.
In a statement, the brand said there is potential for additional resorts in the future.
The new resort concept will join Tommy Bahama’s existing hospitality portfolio, which comprises the brand’s growing Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Marlin Bar businesses. The restaurant and bar concepts collectively have more than 20 locations across the U.S.
Tommy Bahama, which is owned by Oxford Industries, also has over 160 retail locations worldwide.
