Outrigger Resorts & Hotels has struck an agreement to acquire the Kauai Beach Resort & Spa for an undisclosed sum.
Located in the town of Lihue on Kauai’s eastern coast, the 25-acre beachfront resort has 350 guestrooms.
According to the resort’s website, the property has four pools, three food and beverage venues, a spa, a fitness center and 25,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
Outrigger said it expects the deal to close by Aug. 22.
The Kauai Beach Resort acquisition announcement follows news that Outrigger will acquire the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel in Maui, with that property to relaunch as the Outrigger Ka’anapali Beach Resort in late July.
According to Outrigger, the addition of the Kauai Beach Resort & Spa is “an important milestone” because the company will have a full-service resort on all four of the largest Hawaiian Islands.
By the end of this summer, Outrigger is on track to have 29 resorts, hotels and condo resorts across Hawaii.
