Soak up and experience the UK’s first ever Onsen-style baths where two mineral-laden, wooden hot tubs, will be set to a steamy 25 degrees. Enjoy picturesque views of Beckenham Place Park Swimming Lake with up to five friends and if you want to bare all like the Japanese, you can book morning sessions with other naked bathers.

Originally set to open last year, the Onsen baths are operated by OSU Apple Cider Vinegar, where guests can enjoy a sip of apple cider vinegar mocktails and sodas.

Onsens are traditionally formed on natural springs in Japan, and this is the first time this experience has been available to the public in the UK.

A statement on the official website reads: “In-keeping with Japanese tradition Onsen’s will not mix genders during this session. The Onsen’s will be all male or all female, dependent on your group.

“If you prefer to keep your bathing suit on, don’t worry we’ve got you covered as there are plenty of sessions throughout the day to keep your cozzy on.”

Each session of the ‘newest’ ancient tradition for Brits over the age of 18 to try out lasts up to 45 minutes and is free of charge.

OSU Apple Cider Vinegar x Onsen Japanese Bathing Experience is open Friday, August 13 and Saturday, August 14.

‘Full Monty sunrise sessions’ run from 8am – 8.45am, with regular sessions till 7pm. Click here to book your tickets now.
