A study by Scrap Car Comparison analysed parking prices across the most popular coastal towns in the UK.
The seaside town of Lympstone, in Devon, came first with the most affordable parking prices, costing just 40p an hour.
Lympstone is a unique town by the coast of Devon with an interesting harbour on the estuary of the River Exe.
On Tripadvisor, many holidaymakers recommended visiting the unusual spot, where travellers will spot “plenty of wildlife”.
A visitor named John explained: “The path from Exeter can be busy as it runs alongside the river but offers places to eat along the route. Ideal for cycling.”

Christopher, who recently visited the coastal town, described the River Exe as the “river of dreams”.
He added: “The Exe estuary must be one of the most beautiful estuaries in the world. Poets and artists have been inspired by it, as have novelists and painters.
“Walk down to the goat walk in Topsham to get inspiring views out to sea. Or take the Round Robin boat trip to Exmouth to catch sight of avocets and green-blue translucent waters. Lympstone is a little gem and worth a wander around its maze of streets.”
