The first resort built on Kaanapali Beach back on Jan. 23, 1963, the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with an over-the-top package.
“We’re excited to commemorate 60 years with our signature Alii Discovery package and cultural programming that speak to Sheraton Maui’s distinct history, while offering travelers the opportunity to explore Maui more deeply through enriching experiences,” said Tetsuji Yamazaki, general manager of Sheraton Maui, in a press release.
The Alii Discovery package pairs Alii Suite accommodations with a lavish four- to six-day itinerary of experiences. These may include a private surf lesson, helicopter tour with a beach picnic lunch, a canoe paddle with a private table for the cliff dive ceremony, a guided chocolate tasting and hot stone massages and a two-hour private boat charter.
The package is priced at $6,000 per night and may be booked a month prior to travel. It can be reserved through Dec. 15 using rate code ES7.
