S Hotel Jamaica goes all-inclusive

The 120-room S Hotel Jamaica in Montego Bay has transitioned to an all-inclusive concept. The property, which opened in 2019, also added two restaurants, a Jamaican Blue Mountain espresso bar, a new room category and other offerings that include daily yoga classes and rum tastings.

“During the pandemic, since many restaurants were closed in the Montego Bay area, our guests opted to dine on property and because we had a surplus of food stocks due to lower occupancy, we were able to provide complimentary dinners,” said Christopher Issa, CEO and owner of the S Hotel Jamaica. “The guests loved the quality and creativity of our meals. As a result, more than three-quarters of our guests have been asking for the all-inclusive option, as have our travel advisor partners, and we are confident that it will make the hotel an even more enjoyable place to experience our signature Jamaican hospitality.”

The two new restaurants are the Roots Rock, which offers Jamaican cuisine such as jerk, oxtail, ackee and saltfish, and the Jamrock, whose menu consists of classic dishes, including rack of lamb, steak and wild-caught salmon. The Jamrock is located on the Sky Deck level and offers views of the Caribbean Sea.

The resort’s new room category is the Ocean View Junior Suite with Cabana, with units located on the ground level that have access to a personal cabana.

All-inclusive rates start at $529 per night based on double occupancy.
