Silversea Cruises will offer new and different public spaces aboard the Silver Nova, a ship making its debut in August 2023.
The ship will introduce an asymmetrical layout along with a new take on public areas, which will largely be located on decks three, four and five and outside on deck 10.
• The Dolce Vita Lounge will represent the heart of the Silver Nova and host pre- and post-dinner drinks. With a capacity of up to 120 guests, the space will be open in the morning for drinks and enrichment activities before transforming into a piano bar at night.
• The Venetian Lounge will span two stories and have a capacity for 370 guests. The space will be home to the ship’s lectures, entertainment performances, film screenings and events in the evening. The venue includes a large HD screen and cabaret-style seating with small tables and balconies.
• The Shelter is a new evening-only venue for Silversea. The space will offer a chic evening-only bar for pre- and post-dinner cocktails. The bar is designed with a modern wrap-around bottle display with strips of lighting.
• The Connoisseur’s Corner, with a capacity of 35 guests, will offer premium cigars and liquors. Striving for the feel of a private members club, the space will feature a larger space with modern interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor area and Chesterfield armchairs.
• The Observation Lounge will provide 270-degree views from the top of the ship with floor-to-ceiling windows. The venue will accommodate up to 115 guests from early morning to late evening and also includes the Silver Nova library.
• The Panorama Lounge will accommodate up to 190 guests. The space will offer a new layout compared to the Muse-class ships as well as a new design and color palette.
• S.A.L.T. Bar has been relocated to Deck 10, offering more space than Silversea’s previous ships. With a capacity for 42 guests, the ship will have a larger bar area, floor-to-ceiling windows and a new outdoor area. The bar will serve drinks inspired by the ship’s sailed regions.
• S.A.L.T. Lab, which will be located on the same deck as the bar, will have a larger layout. The test kitchen will accommodate 28 guests, and focus on regional ingredients, enabling guests to experience each sailed region through the lens of food and drink. The space will include a larger, redesigned central workstation where guests will watch cooking demonstrations.
• The ship will locate the Otium Spa toward the bow on deck five and offer a more spacious interior than the spa on the Silver Dawn. The space will include an indoor swimming pool, a spa with eight treatment rooms and a relaxation area, a fitness center and a beauty salon. The thermal area will be larger and include a steam room sauna, pool, water fountain and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The 728-guest ship will have 10 bars and lounges and eight restaurants.
