American Cruise Lines will introduce three ships in 2023, along with 10 new itineraries that will venture into ports of call the company has never visited.
The company’s sixth modern river ship, American Serenade, will debut on the Mississippi River in April. The 175-passenger vessel is a sister ship to the American Symphony, which entered service in 2022.
The first two ships from American Cruise Lines’ Coastal Cats will also debut in 2023. The 109-passenger American Eagle and American Glory will sail itineraries on the East Coast beginning in August and October.
New destinations for 2023 include San Francisco, Sag Harbor, N.Y., and Key West, Fla.
American Cruise Lines will launch its first cruise in California, an eight-day roundtrip San Francisco Bay cruise, which will highlight Napa Valley’s wine country.
A new 15-day National Parks & Legendary Rivers itinerary includes an eight-day cruise on the Columbia and Snake rivers and a seven-day exploration through Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. There’s also an eight-day Tennessee Rivers cruise between Chattanooga and Nashville.
