This holiday season, Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa invites travelers young and old to trade a white Christmas for the sparkling white sands and azure waters along the famed Seven Mile Beach.
At the recently renovated Caribbean resort, travelers can enjoy a warm holiday welcome with spirited programs and festive dining that adds immersive Cayman flavor to classic holiday traditions that are sure to delight travelers of all ages.
Tropical Holiday Programming
Guests will be surrounded by the ‘Caymankind’ spirit from the moment they set foot in Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa’s lobby decked out in glorious, Caribbean-inspired detail.
Upon arrival, guests can add their personal touches to the lobby’s Caymanian Christmas tree dressed with seashells, starfish, fishing nets and dazzling blue, silver and gold tones. A table set up nearby will offer ornaments and glitter pens for guests to decorate and place upon the tree.
There is no shortage of family fun throughout the season with holiday experiences, including gingerbread man decorating, festive face painting, and ugly Christmas sweater design crafts.
On Christmas morning, Saint Nick himself will be onsite for Photos With Santa at the gazebo on Beach South.
Little chefs-in-the-making can participate in a hands-on, holiday-themed Kids Cooking Class led by Executive Chef Sandy Tuason on December 26.
For New Year’s, an Intention Setting Art Activity will be offered to give children the opportunity to decorate cards with their goals for 2019 to be displayed outside the Kids Club. Adults can also get their creative juices flowing and relax before the New Year with an Adult Art Hour on December 28.
Executive Chef Sandy Tuason and his team have curated festive Christmas and New Year’s menus to be served at the resort’s 4 Diamond signature restaurant, Beach House, and along Seven Mile Beach. The exclusive culinary delights are as follows:
Christmas Eve Dinner – Inspire dreams of sugarplums with delectable selections including Jumbo Lump Crab Cannelloni, Maple Glazed Turkey Breast, and Herb Stuffed Leg Roulade, Maine Lobster Termidor, and a Chef’s Christmas Dessert Tasting. $108 per person, plus 16 percent service.
Christmas Day Brunch – After unwrapping presents on Christmas morning, enjoy a spirited holiday spread including a Seven Mile Salad Bar, Seafood & Raw Bar, Sushi Bar, an International Entrée Selection and more. Adults can raise a glass to good tidings with Champenoise Brut, a Margherita Bar, and house white and red wines. Available 12:00pm-3:00pm; $114 per person plus 16 percent service; $30 per child under age 12 plus 16 percent service.
Christmas Day Dinner Buffet – Enjoy all of the selections above, plus a Mediterranean Corner with offerings such as Homemade Chicken Shawarma and Dried Cherry & Walnut Couscous, a Christmas Pudding Station, and Caribbean and International Christmas Desserts. Available 5:30pm-8:30pm; $114 per person plus 16 percent service; $30 per child under age 12 plus 16 percent service.
Kids New Year’s Eve Celebration – No need to keep the little ones up late to ring in 2019. Join an early, kid-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration at the Kids’ Club, starting at 5:00 pm on December 31.
New Year’s Evening Dinner – Usher out 2018 with a gourmet gala dinner at Beach House, including a glass of Taittinger Champagne and a multi-course menu with selections including Oysters Three Ways, Butter Poached American Lobster or Tourndeos Rossini, plus a Chef’s New Year’s Eve Dessert Tasting Plate. $151 per person, plus 16 percent service charge; with wine pairing $192 per person plus 16 percent service charge.
New Year’s Eve Party at the Beach – Keep your eyes on the clock and your toes in the sand while celebrating the New Year on Seven Mile Beach. Festivities include live-action food stations, unlimited Marquis de la Tour sparkling wine & soft drinks, live music from the Suite Elite Band during dinner, dancing to the Big Band until 1:00 am, and a fireworks display at midnight. $192 per person, plus 16 percent service charge; with open bar $270 per person plus 16 percent service charge; $30 plus 16 percent service charge for kids under age 12.
