Disney's Star Wars hotel to cost about $6,000 for a family of four

Walt Disney World Resort has revealed sample pricing for its highly anticipated Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel experience, with a two-night package for a four-person family to start at around $6,000.

Scheduled to open next spring, the 100-room Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is described by Disney as an immersive “vacation adventure,” with packages inclusive of accommodations, meals (excluding alcoholic and specialty beverages), valet parking, and activities like lightsaber training, model ship building and a droid-racing competition.

Packages will also include one-day admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the park where the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge themed land is located.

Accommodation options will include standard cabins that sleep four to five guests, one-bedroom Galaxy Class Suites that sleep up to four guests and two-bedroom Grand Captain Suites that can sleep up to eight guests.

The sample prices are based on staying in a standard cabin stay between Aug. 20, 2022 and Sept. 17, 2022.

Although bookings have yet to open, Disney appears to be anticipating high demand for the two-night packages, urging guests to keep alternate dates in mind during their planning process “as availability may be limited.”
