Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is getting reimagined with a Pixar theme: Travel Weekly

Disneyland Resort’s Paradise Pier Hotel is getting a theming refresh, with the property soon set to showcase design elements inspired by Disney’s Pixar computer animation studio.

The revamped hotel will feature new artwork and decor, including a large model of the Pixar desk lamp, the studio’s mascot, balancing on a ball in the lobby.

In addition to updated theming, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is gaining a new park access point, with construction underway on a walkway that will connect the property directly to Disneyland’s Disney California Adventure park.

Concurrently, all three Disneyland Resort hotels are preparing to roll out new guest benefits this summer, including early entry access, through which guests staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel or Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel properties can enter the theme park first and enjoy select attractions and experiences.

Guests will also soon be able to have select theme park purchases sent back to their Disneyland Resort hotel.

Lastly, Disneyland Resort hotels plan to roll out the Hey, Disney! voice assistant, available via Alexa on Amazon Echo devices, in guestrooms later this year. The move follows last year’s announcement that Hey, Disney! would soon be launched at Walt Disney World Resort hotel guestrooms, allowing guests to make special requests, like asking for extra blankets or pillows, as well as get park-related information.
