Banyan Tree makes European debut with Angsana resort on Corfu

Banyan Tree Group has opened its first European property, the Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa in Greece.

Located on Corfu’s Akra Punta Bay, the property comprises 159 guestrooms and 37 pool villas ranging in size from one to four bedrooms.

The Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa is also home to 10 food and beverage venues, the most notable of which is Botrini’s, a Greek fine-dining concept helmed by Michelin-star chef Ettore Botrini. Additional F&B highlights include Asian fusion eatery Koh’s, all-day restaurant Ruen Romsai, and Sofrito, a tavern-inspired outlet serving up Corfiot and Greek fare.

Other amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, an Angsana Spa, a gym and outdoor yoga pavilion, a Rangers’ Club children’s center, and event and meeting space.

Rates at the Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa start at $195 per night.

The opening of the Corfu property grows Banyan Tree’s Angsana portfolio to nearly 20 properties worldwide.

The brand plans to open a second European outpost in Salzburg, Austria, the Angsana Grossgmain, sometime next year.
