Warner Bros is opening a brand new ‘immersive’ Harry Potter theme park land

It’s that time of year when Harry Potter fans dig out the films and settle down with candles and mulled wine for a cosy marathon.

There’s nothing quite like the feel-good films for getting through the inter.

But, those wanting to experience the magic of Hogwarts in real life will no longer have to fly to Florida for the privilege.

A brand new Harry Potter theme park land is set to open promising to transport muggles into the Wizarding World like “never before”.

The new enchanting world will be built at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi – the world’s largest indoor theme park.

It takes around six hours and 45 minutes to get to AbuDhabi from the UK and flights cost from around £277, according to Google Flights.

Warner Bros . World Abu Dhabi has promised fans that they’ll share the world of Harry Potter with them in “all-new ways” so we’re excited to see how it will differ from other recreations.

The land will be “significant in scale” and an “immersive landscape” so it’s sure to blow people’s minds.

Speaking about the project, HE Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Miral said: “We are very proud of our continuous partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery and excited to be bringing this spell-binding first to the Middle East, and the world.”

While few details have yet been released travellers to the Middle East will surely not be disappointed when they walk into the Wizarding World in a brand new design.

The Harry Potter World will join six existing lands at Warner Bros. Abu Dhabi including: Warner Bros. Plaza, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, Cartoon Junction, Gotham City and Metropolis.

Currently, Brits who want to experience Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, sip on butter beer and shrink in fear from the death eaters can head to the Harry Potter Studios in Watford where tickets start from £49.95.

For an additional cost you can experience afternoon tea at the studios with an array of delicious sweets, savoury treats, baked scones and loose-lead teas or champagne all served in a magical environment.

Alternatively head to the original Wizarding World of Harry Potter at universal Orlando resort to step inside the hallowed walls of Hogwarts and ride on the Hogwarts Express.
