An Air India passenger is rightfully bugging out after allegedly finding a dead cockroach cooked into the inflight meal he was served on the plane.
Rohit Raj Singh Chauhan told The Times of India that he found the insect in his sambhar, a lentil-based vegetable stew, during a Mumbai-bound flight from Bhopal over the weekend.
Fellow passenger Manoj Khandekar tweeted several graphic pictures of the stew-covered intruder: “Cockroach In Food Served At Air India.”
Social media users questioned the “hygiene & cleanliness” of the airline, adding that the ordeal was “shameful.” The collective outrage prompted an apology from Air India.
