Prince Harry can’t stop smiling as he spots Meghan after touching down in Canada

Prince Harry was all smiles as he arrived on Vancouver island to start a new chapter in his life.

The Duke of Sussex's face it up as he spotted his wife Meghan Markle waiting for him in the back of the car.

The couple had been separated for 11 days before the were finally reunited after the Prince finished his final engagement as a senior royal in Britain.

A passenger onboard his Westjet flight told the Mirror/Express/Star the Duke looked “tired and agitated” before finally touching down at 9.47pm local time on Monday.

She said: “Harry was one of the first ones off the flight and was carrying his own bag.

“You could tell after a long flight from London he was tired and agitated but as he saw the car his mood instantly changed.

“I couldn’t be sure but it looked like Meghan was in the back waiting for him.

“Whoever it was he was very pleased to see them.”

Harry was driven the five minute drive from the airport to the £11.4 million waterfront home the couple have lived in since November being whisked away in a SUV which had been waiting on the tarmac.

His return to Vancouver came just days after he and Meghan agreed a deal with the Queen to step back as senior royals.

On Monday the Prince raced through an engagement with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and African leaders before boarding a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Vancouver.

After BA85 touched down following a nine hour 17 minute flight, Harry connected onto Westjet 3185 for the 11 minutes journey from the mainland onto Vancouver Island.

He had been so eager to see Meghan and Archie he ducked out of a Buckingham Palace evening reception he was supposed to be co-hosting.

It came hours after Meghan was photographed beaming with delight as she took son Archie out for a hike in the woods in Canada shortly before Prince Harry arrived.

Meghan, 38, was layered up for her stroll in Horth Hill Regional Park, just a couple of miles from her home where she has spent much of the past two months.

In the photos, published in UK newspapers, the Duchess is seen beaming with delight as she gently craddles baby Archie in a baby carrier attached to her front.

It appeared the worst of the Megxit drama was over for the former Suits star who was smiling while carrying little Archie and walking her pooches, Oz and Guy.

Two Royal Security Officers could be seen keeping a safe distance from Meghan and Archie in what was a rare break from the freezing weather that had blighted most of the duchess’s stay.

Meghan was out just hours before Prince Harry was seen arriving in Vancouver where he will start his new life with his young family.

The ginger duke, 35, will be reunited with his wife and son, who he hasn’t seen for nearly two weeks as he ironed out his family’s future with the Queen.
