According to The Sun, Ural Airlines Flight U6-893 departed from Moscow en route to Dubai International Airport when several people onboard began reporting they felt sick about 30 minutes into the trip.

The captain was forced to call for an emergency landing in Volgograd, Russia, over an hour after takeoff after several passengers sitting between rows 21 and 26 in the economy cabin started to “turn green” and complain they were suffocating.

“I was woken by a young woman screaming for assistance. She yelled and screamed ‘Help, help!’ because her husband felt ill,” an unnamed passenger on the flight told The Sun. “He was feeling really bad. He was suffocating and he couldn’t breathe in. His face went the color green. Then a panic swept through the plane.”

When the plane landed safely in Volgograd, it was met by ambulances and emergency personnel who transported two passengers to a local hospital and provided aid to several others on the scene. The condition of the hospitalized travelers was not revealed.

The passengers treated on the scene were allowed to board with the remainder of the other travelers after airline officials cleared the plane of any mechanical issues. The flight departed once again for Dubai 2.5 hours after the emergency landing.
