Man filmed vomiting in the aisle on rowdy Ryanair flight to Croatia

A drunk holidaymaker on a rowdy flight to Croatia was filmed vomiting in the aisle on what others passengers have called a flight from “hell”.

A group of passengers onboard the Ryanair Manchester to Zadar flight were heading to Hard Island dance music festival on the Croatian coast.

The men, who were drunk, “wreaked havoc” on the delayed flight, reports the Daily Mail.

Passenger Aneta Zukow who was flying to Croatia for a holiday, said that many of the group ignored the seatbelt signs and were shouting to fellow members during the safety demonstration.

The cabin crew struggled to control the passengers amid drunken chanting and shouting, she said.

In video footage of the flight, one passenger can be seen vomiting over himself and the aisle. Later, a friend is seen holding a bag for him to be sick into, before he slumped onto the passenger in the seat next to him.

“It was like being in a jungle with wild animals,” Ms Zukow told the newspaper.

“It was hell on earth. It was the worst flight of my life. It was absolutely appalling.

“The only way I can describe it is like being in a nightclub without the music 10,000ft above the ground.”

Ryanair said in a statement: “The crew of this flight from Manchester to Zadar (5 July) requested police assistance upon arrival after a number of passengers became disruptive.

“The aircraft landed normally and police removed the individuals. The safety and comfort of our customers, crew and aircraft is our number one priority and this is now a matter for local police.”

In 2018, the Civil Aviation Authority recorded 370 incidents of disruptive behaviour on flights.
