Legoland water park set to open in 2020 – and it sounds amazing

Legoland is opening its first ever water park in 2020.

Next year, Brits will be able to visit the child-friendly attraction in Castelnouvo del Garda.

And looking at early mock-ups of the theme park, it looks like it’s going to be amazing.

Legoland Water Park will be opening in Gardaland in 2020.

Little information has been given away about the project yet, but by the looks of promotional pictures, it’s going to be very exciting.

A theme park mock-up shows kids paddling down a lazy river with blocks of Lego.

Slides a waterfall and miniature landmarks are also planned for the resort.

Gardaland, which is run by Merlin Entertainments, is already home to rollercoasters and family rides.

SEA LIFE Aquarium is also on the complex.

Guests who visit have the option to stay at three different themed hotels.

The Gardaland Hotel, Adventure Hotel and brand-new Magic Hotel all promise a comfortable stay.

Gardaland CEO, Aldo Maria Vigevani, spoke about the news today.

She said: “The LEGO brand is renowned globally and will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening Gardaland Resort’s position as a major European tourist destination, as well as confirming it as a top player for family entertainment”.

Paolo Lazzarin, General Manager of LEGO Italia, added: “This is great news.

“We are really proud and I’m certain that the park will fill the young and adult builders who passionately follow the brick with joy.”
