Flight attendant spills private jet gossip – from cheating clients to £1.2k tips

A high end flight cabin crew member has opened up about her work catering to "mainly very rich British and American people”.

The anonymous flight attendant claims that the super rich hire the private jet she works on for glam holidays spent with friends and family.

She emphasised that the clients are not only wealthy, but only those who could afford to fly in a private plane.

Considering a flight on a private jet can cost around £14,000 just from London to Glasgow they must have a huge net worth.

And, while she wouldn’t reveal who flew on the plane, she said it was the owners as well and celebrities and: “I once had a YouTuber renting the plane.”

Now, the luxury flight attendant has revealed some of the crazy stories from her time on the private jet.

She told the Express: "Once I did a trip with one of my clients in America and his girlfriend.

"Then we came to Europe and he had another girlfriend and I had to act like super normal!

"It was my first time flying with him, a super rich guy.

"It was such an awkward situation…

"Nobody told me anything about the girlfriend so thank God my captain informed me as soon as they came on board."

In another situation, she was flying out a client to a funeral – and they asked her to pop some champagne on the way there.

She noted: "I obviously didn’t have any with me thinking they would not drink something like that for a funeral."

But, the flight attendant also revealed that she was “lucky” as most of her clients were “pretty normal”.

And, the highest tip she ever received was £1,250 on a trip that lasted five days.

The cabin crew member said: "I’ve never really had bad experiences with those clients.

"But I had bad behaviour multiple times with some of my current passengers (but I can’t tell where they’re from and what they do at all).”

However she added that most passengers were well-behaved and noted: "When flying in England they are absolutely amazing.

"They put the speaker on board the aircraft, they are drinking champagne, dancing, going on holiday… they are just happy people, it's just fantastic."

But, there is a lot to do on-board a private jet as they are expected to serve a “full course meal” even if the flight takes just an hour.

She said: "For us, it’s a normal situation but not for people from a commercial airline."
