Choosing a destination is one of the hardest things to do when looking for a cheap holiday with so many places in and around Europe to explore. And as the weather warms up, there’s an even wider range of sandy beaches and hotel resorts open to international visitors. Travel experts at Deal Checker have rounded up the best four and five-star getaways you can book on a budget this year.

Spain, Portugal and Italy are among the most popular summer destinations for British holidaymakers but increased demand can make them unaffordable without compromising on quality. Fortunately, for those in search of four-star package deals, there there are plenty of scenic destinations just a short flight away that can be booked for as little as £382 per person.

Turkey

In a recent video on their TikTok profile, Deal Checker revealed Turkey as one of the top spots for a luxury getaway in 2023.

The team of holiday price comparison experts noted that for £382 per person, Britons can book a last-minute package deal with return flights and seven nights at an all-inclusive resort.

Offered by TUI, the five-star escape is located on the coast of Dalaman and boasts “spectacular views of the glistening ocean” from the Grand Yazici Club Marmaris Palace resort. According to the Deal Checker team, the hotel earned itself a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award in 2022.

Kos, Greece

Departing from London Gatwick (LGW), holidaymakers can visit the Kipriotis Village Resort in Kos for just £375 per person with Blue Sea Holidays.

The all-inclusive deal is priced for departure on May 8, 2023, and includes an all-inclusive seven-night stay with return flights.

Known as the second most popular island of Dodecanese, after Rhodes, Kos is known for its historical sites, beautiful beaches, and lush vegetation.

According to an expert at Travel Snippet, the destination is “one of the jewels of the southeastern Mediterranean”.

The hotel is just 11 miles from Rhodes International airport and the destination itself is rich in history.

While there, the Old Town and ancient ruins are not to be missed.

Egypt

From London Luton, travellers can fly to Hurghada, Egypt on April 19 to enjoy temperatures beyond 24C.

Offered by Love Holidays, the seven-night package deal includes return flights and a stay at the four-star El Karma Aqua Beach Resort.
