A passenger has slammed an in-flight meal served by British Airways – branding it "truly pathetic".
Carolyn, a customer on a BA flight, told the airline: “We are not rabbits".
She urged the airline to "do better" after being served the meal on a flight to London Heathrow.
Carolyn was flying from Vancouver, in Canada, and voiced her disappointment at the food served up by the flagship carrier on social media, Birmingham Live reports.
She tweeted: "British Airways this is the sad vegetarian meal you saw fit to give me on a long YVR-LHR flight.
"Would you eat this? Would anyone?
“Plain tofu with plain rice and a baby corn cob from a tin?
“Why do you think vegetarians don’t like food? Please do better.”
British Airways replied to admit the meal looked a 'little sad' and asked which meal Carolyn had requested, before saying they'll "make sure this is fed back to our catering team (no pun intended)".
Carolyn added: "The flight attendant saved me by finding me another meal, but this was truly pathetic and happens to vegetarians so often.
"Please tell your caterers we are not rabbits. We like good hearty meals!
