It only took about two hours for Jedi masters to snatch up all of the general reservations for the opening weeks of Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction, reports The Arizona Republic, which is part of the USA TODAY Network.
It opens May 31, and reservations are required through June 23.
The reservation system opened at 10 a.m. PDT on May 2, and just before noon, Disneyland Resorts said all the spots had been claimed.
The process seemed to run smoothly, although many people who logged on found themselves waiting in a virtual queue as the resort worked to process reservations.
On social media, there was some chatter from people who complained about not seeing where in the reservations system they were supposed to add guests — though some realized they had simply overlooked that crucial step in their excitement to book. Each reservation had to specify the number of visitors.
