Bahamas' Ocean Club completes a room update

The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas, has completed renovations to guestrooms and suites and made some enhancements to its restaurants.

Four Seasons said the renovated rooms and suites of the resort’s Crescent Wing were inspired by a theme of classic island elegance, with a natural color palette and island-inspired decor. In hues of aqua, gray, taupe and gold, the rooms reflect a Bahamian chic concept. Some touches include gold bamboo-framed mirrors, and deep-soaking bathtubs surrounded by a custom-curved wall mosaic, tiled in coordinating hues of gold, ivory and aqua.

The Luxury Oceanfront Room and the Luxury Oceanfront Suite, both with king beds, have been updated to include a queen-size sofa sleeper, enabling the units to accommodate up to four guests. Select guestrooms have two beds and can be connected to either an Oceanfront Room with a king bed or an Oceanfront King Suite. Garden-level guestroom terraces have been updated to include a large daybed.

All rooms and suites offer a private terrace or balcony overlooking the ocean.

The resort also updated its poolside Caribbean restaurant, Ocean Blu, with new seating. It also will begin serving dinner for the first time, from Thursdays to Sundays. The resort also expanded the outdoor terrace with sun room of its Dune gourmet eatery.

Free night’s stay

To mark its 60th anniversary, the resort is offering guests a fourth night free through Dec. 31 with every three consecutive paid nights; it also includes complimentary Nassau airport transfers. Blackout dates apply, and the free night must be used in conjunction with the initial stay.

The beachside resort sits on 35 acres, and comprises 90 guestrooms, 12 suites, five two-bedroom plunge pool villas and villa residences. Amenities include three pools, six tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course, five dining and bar options, a fitness center and a spa.  Rates start at $1,500 for a gardenview room.
