Visa cardholders to be granted pre-sale access to Coca-Cola Arena events

Visa and Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena have announced a ‘strategic partnership’ that will see Visa cardholders and clients be offered exclusive pre-sale access to events and a variety of experiences.

The partnership will also include backstage experiences at events held at the venue.

The Coca-Cola Arena has 100 percent contactless payment acceptance and eventually plans to move towards cash-free concession stands.

“Coca-Cola Arena is delighted to welcome Visa on board as newest founding and official payment partner,” said Guy Ngata, AEG Ogden’s CEO of Coca-Cola Arena. “We look forward to working closely with Visa, from showcasing the very best events and providing world-class experiences for our patrons and clients.”

Ngata added that, “there is no doubting our partnership with Visa will further support our ambition to be the leading entertainment arena in the MENA region which is at the forefront of cashless technology”.

The 17,000-capacity Coca-Cola Arena is capable of hosting events all year, including concerts, sporting tournaments, e-gaming events, comedy gigs, conferences and gala dinners.
