Gate 7 appoints Liz Glover

Tourism marketing and PR agency, Gate 7, has appointed experienced marketer Liz Glover as its new Brand USA Director for Australia and New Zealand.

Liz joins Gate 7 from Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours, where she worked for over a decade, with her most recent role as Director, Marketing and Strategy for Australia and New Zealand.

Her diverse travel marketing expertise spans media buying, B2B and B2C marketing, digital transformation, content strategy and creation of content, communications, brand change, sponsorships, partnerships, events and promotions. While at Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours, Liz spearheaded many trade marketing strategies including its worldwide rebrand project, successfully repositioning the company as a global luxury travel brand. Before this role, Liz oversaw the strategic marketing direction for News Corporation’s The Australian, with responsibility for The Australian’s print, online and classified marketing, promotions and sponsorships.

Liz’s appointment follows Gate 7’s retention of the Brand USA in 2017, for the second term running. She joins at a time of expansion and evolution for the agency; in addition to its travel trade marketing and public relations expertise, Gate 7 is has expanded its service offerings with end-to-end social media management, advertising, consumer partnerships, content development and travel industry events.
