Cruising the Pacific Coast Highway!

Let’s face it, we all love a good road trip. And they don’t get much better than an American West Coast road trip, in particular, the Pacific Coast Highway from San Diego to Seattle. Considered one of the all-time greatest road trips, you’ll encounter some incredible sights along the way.

Seattle is a great place to either start or end your road trip.  Home of the first-ever Starbucks, and the famous Space Needle (Seattle’s iconic building), there’s plenty to do here. Head to Pike Place Market for a true taste of Seattle, as well as a great place to walk around and grab some awesome food along the way.

There are plenty of stops to take along the Washington coast, including Ocean Shores. Moving into Oregan, where there are some awesome natural sights, Devils Punchbowl is a worthy stop! Thors Well is another stop well worth making, but be careful, that sinkhole is powerful but awe-inspiring! The Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor is a must-visit, with amazing dramatic cliffs and rock formations.

Into California and you must head for Redwood National and State Parks. On the opposite end of the scale, you need to head for Big Sur. It’s what you dream of, sunny winding coastlines, deep cliffs and surf!

So onto Los Angeles. We’ve all seen it so much on the TV, that you will feel like you know it! If there’s one thing you need to do, that’s a beach walk from Venice to Santa Monica. It’s the best place to people watch! And you can’t not head to Hollywood, it’s what LA is all about…glitz, glamour and sights to behold! Half an hour south of LA is Long Beach. Beaches, marinas, shopping and dining; it has it all!

San Diego, another place to start or end your road trip. It’s like a more chilled out version of LA. Not to be outdone on the beachfront, it also has a fantastic foodie scene with some awesome restaurants, particularly in Little Italy.

Wherever your road trip takes your clients, you know you can book Stuba hotels all along the route, including Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego and Seattle and many more.
