Hilton dominates at 2019 Industry Awards
Hilton in South East Queensland came together on Monday night to celebrate at the annual 2019 Queensland Hotel Association (QHA) Awards for Excellence which was held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Renowned for being Queensland’s most prestigious hotel accolades, the awards celebrated the industry’s highest achievers, unveiling a plethora of talent and innovation across 40 award categories.
Hilton Brisbane was presented with the Outstanding Achievement in Training Award and inducted into the QHA Hall of Fame, which recognises outstanding service to the Queensland hotel, tourism and hospitality industry. The honour was received as consequence of winning the award for Outstanding Community Service 100+ Employees on three consecutive occasions in the QHA Awards for Excellence program, culminating in their win in 2018.
The recognition for Outstanding Achievement in Training acknowledged the hotel’s value proposition by creating meaningful opportunities for its Team Members. This accolade also highlights Hilton’s investment towards its learning and development programmes as well as its strong local and national partnerships that not only provide for future Hilton careers but the broader industry.
