COMO Parrot Cay reopens
COMO Hotels and Resorts is proud to announce the completion of its seasonal renovations including the addition of new stunning beach houses at COMO Parrot Cay, the acclaimed private island resort in the Turks and Caicos.
The award-winning five-star resort – which is also the location of some of the Caribbean’s finest private estate homes – underwent a number of renovations over the summer months including the addition of two new Two-Bedroom Beach Houses, three One Bedroom Beach Villas which have been extended into Family Beach Houses and a new Adults Only Pool, located adjacent to the COMO Beach Club.
The two new Two-Bedroom Beach Houses, boast direct access to the island’s mile-long white powder beach and pristine turquoise water, as well as a secluded location among lush vegetation and sand dunes. Ideal for groups of friends and family, each house is approximately 1,735sq.ft. in size. The houses feature two master bedrooms with ocean views, four-poster beds, walk-in closet and en-suite bathrooms. At the front of the property, a large sundeck surrounds a pool and alfresco dining area. Guests staying in the Two-Bedroom Beach Houses also receive personalised COMO butler service for the duration of their stay. The private COMO butler will assist guests throughout their stay, helping plan activities on and off the water, from castaway picnics to stand-up paddle through the resort’s prolific mangroves or wellness treatments from the world’s best experts at the award-winning COMO Shambhala Retreat.
Three of the resort’s One Bedroom Beach Villas have been transformed into Family Beach Houses offering an additional guest bedroom and a shower room, ideal for smaller families looking for private accommodation on the beach. The design of the new houses stays true to COMO’s signature style featuring crisp white decorative details combined with light woods and materials, infusing each room with a modern and calming Caribbean look and feel. Additional new details include the transformation of the plunge pool into a pool.
Located next to the COMO Beach Club, a new Adults Only (18 years old and older) 25m long pool has been built with direct access to the COMO Beach Club’s signature food and drinks menu and pool service including local delicacies such as Caribbean conch fritters and a guilt-free cocktail menu. After sunset, the ambience switches to a more vibrant soundtrack, complimented by sultry “after dark” cocktails which can be enjoyed around the bar or the beach-side fire pits.
Other signature offerings at COMO Parrot Cay include the COMO Shambhala Retreat, an award winning sanctuary where mind, body and soul are nurtured holistically.
